Is the check engine light coming on at all? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You don't have a multiport, you have a Centralport system. You're going to have to do some investigating to determine exactly what is happening, whether it be misfiring, running lean, running rich, possible EGR sticking open.

Throwing parts at it is not the solution.

It can't all check good. You just have to determine what is going on in the engine.

Take the EGR valve off of it and clean it out with some carb cleaner. i think hammer time suggested it. they have a lot of trouble with those EGR valves getting carbon stuck in them and holding the pintle open just a little. take it off clean it out and start the truck up for a split second to blow the crap out of the intake. they also make a gasket with a screen in it.
