MY fiance has a 93 buick regal with the 3.8l v6. (i love my 86 chev 350ci more now). Driving down the road it sputtered, the abs light flicked on (due to imminent engine failure?), and it barely made it home hazards on, at 20kph. It will start fine, idle great. slowly increasing rpm it will rev as high as you want- consistant, no missing or rough running. pressing on the gas any faster than a snail would it sputters, coughs, pops. it will drive down the road with slow acceleration, but barely made it home on the "it will fix itself run". changed fuel filter, can hear the electronic fuel pump run on ignition run position. pulled codes 31- map sensor, fuel injector, park neutral switch, cam sensor. & 56- vacuum sensor circut, quad driver no.2 circut. There seems to be no posts with this particular problem, except one on a blazer without reply :( used to carburated engines, hope someone familiar with fuel injection will point in right direction. cam position sensor? fuel pump? thanks much!!!
