'93 Nissan 240sx timing belt help

I think the timing belt has gone out on my '93 nissan 240sx. While driving it, I heard something flapping and then lost power and the car stalled. When I tried to start it again, all I hear is the engine spinning but not turning over. The tow truck guy said it sounds like the timing belt. Does anyone have advice or know-how about replacing it myself? Any advice would be great thanks.
