92 nissan maxima rotor dose not turn

my car just died as i was driving while checking it out I realized their is no spark in plugs traced it back to the rotor that while turning over the engine it does not move why????

The rotor not turning could mean a number of things such as a broken distributor, broken timing chain or even broken crankshaft. It's going to require some disassembly to determine the problem.
