Alt. belt on 92 Lebaron with V6 came off. I do not have a "routing map" nor can I find a way to adjust belt tensionl. Any help on the belt routing and on how to adjust tension would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You will need to know the exact engine. That info is available but not necessarily for free. Belts don't just fall off unless broken or the tensioner wasn't working so count on needing one of those if so.

If in a rush get the belt and the tensioner which I think is bad and take a hard look and you might figure it out by careful examination of the pulleys. If you can look at another of the same car that would be great, or even get a good pic of a routing map from another. AllData.com would have this info now for a fee.

If you try know that it will really fit on if only exactly right - I've haven't seen exceptions yet. Carefully check no matter what that the belt is in the right grooves and in proper place before starting engine or it could instantly destroy the new one.

Perhaps someone here can share the diagram so be quick to get back with details on the engine. There may have only been one and I don't know that,

T

The engine is a 3.0 L V6. Through the process of trial and error I was able to determine the proper routing of the belt as well as determine the operation of the spring loaded belt tensioner. I re-installed the belt and the car is working great.

That's great news. Now take a pic of it so you don't get lost with it again. Some are a real challenge to figure out,
