I recently bought a 92 Thunderbird v6 for my son. It was running fine, then the waterpump started gushing water from the bottom, around a bolt, figured it was the gasket, replaced pump and gasket, flushed radiator and put all new hoses, including heater hoses. Cranked it up, its still leaking, but not as bad. Any suggestions? I was thinking either i didnt clean it good enough ( the old gasket ) ... also, the directions that came with the pump, said dont use sealant I didnt, I usually use RTV Orange. Maybe thats the problem? Im not sure, any advice before I take the pump back off would be great, thanks

First thing that comes to mind would be to pressurize the cooling system and watch where the coolant comes from. Could be a leaking gasket but you may be able to tell more easily with a light and pressure testing the system.

I can clearly see where its coming from. From around a bolt, but the bolt is as tight as it can get.

Coolant shouldn't be coming from the bolt hole. Either you have a defective gasket on the water pump (bad seal around the bolt hole, or debri) or possibly the timing cover gasket is leaking. I'll have to admitt I haven't seen a timing cover leak from that area but I guess anything is possible.... I would definitely inspect the w/p gasket very closely on tear down to make sure that wasn't/isn't the problem.
