1991 Toyota Camry LE, misses quite a bit. Every set of plugs I put in it gets burnt black. I've tried all kinds of things. People told me the Catalytic Converter was stopped up, Fuel Pressure Regulator, nothing worked. Could it be bad fuel injectors? Oil is clean, so it isn't the head gasket either. Car has no power. To even get it to move, you have to keep your foot on the gas all the way down.

Also, it has brand new plug wires and distributor cap as well.

Not much info here, I'll guess it's a 4 cyl.

Going off your info it sounds like it's getting too much fuel. I would want to make sure the coolant temp sensor is good. Unplug the one for the comp and put a jumper in the 2 terminals this will tell the comp its very hot and cutback on the fuel. Start it up and see if it makes a difference, you don't want to run it too long this way because the comp will think the engine is overheating but see if it makes a difference on the way it runs.

This one should have 2 sensors, 1 for the gauge & 1 for the comp. The comp one should be on the back of the engine....
