90 Buick Hard Start Sign In

I have a 90 Buick Century with 3.3V6. It has 200K miles on it. One day it suddenly developed a hard starting problem after sitting overnight. Prior to that it would start instantly any time. After starting it runs perfectly with no fault codes. I recently changed the gas tank, fuel pump, filter and the pressure surge limiter inside the tank because I had a gas leak in the tank. The tank and the assembly with lines holding the fuel pump was rusted out. The problem is not fixed. I also changed the fuel pump relay. One guy said maybe the pressure regulator or leaking injectors. Any ideas. It seems to be getting worse meaning it does not have to sit as long before the problem occurs. It seems to take about 3 hrs now . It does not seem to be related to the temperature. It is getting warm now. once started it idles nice and runs smooth. The engine is in good shape, uses no oil and has lots of power. Thanks

Re: 90 Buick Hard Start Sign In

A maybe is the CTS (coolant temp sensor) or connection + wiring of it. It tells the car how much fuel to deliver based on engine temp as a choke would on non injected engines. If the thing is sending a signal that engine is always warmed up it will be a hard start to no start if cold enough.

Not hard or expensive but you can check ohms of it cold and warmed up. If no change it can't be working. I don't have the chart for what ohms for what temp it should be at hand but it's likely that it either works or doesn't IMO,
