89' Chrysler New Yorker excessive harmonic balancer vibration

engine makes clicking noise and harmonic balancer vibrates VERY badly only does this durring idol. Hit the gas it goes away then when it idols it will pause then do it again. What would cause this?

Rare to me but it happens! Double check that it's the harmonic balancer and not somehow bent at the center, crankshaft or loose at its hub. Replace as needed. This is one item I would consider used if hard to find or expensive new,
