87 chevy R10 with 94 5.7 running rough Sign In

1987 chevy R10 with 94 chey 5.7 with approx 124000 miles
started truck and was running fine ran 2 short errans and when i started the truck back up it began running very rough acting like it was not getting fuel check fuel pump good replaced fuel filter truck still running rough no power i know im missing somthing simpile please help thanks

It may have a misfire issue. It needs to be looked at by a pro to determine what it's doing.

thanks so very much just deliverd it to mechanic had to give up was way above my pay grade but thanks anyway

You said you checked the fuel pump, do you mean that you could hear it run and assumed it was fine or did you do a pressure test? If so, what was the fuel pressure reading of that test? This had a 94 motor put in it, was the OBD wiring from that left intact and able to read codes? If so you need to get it scanned and post the code numbers here. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? I wouldn't hesitate to replace every single inch of vacuum hose on that right now. They are all old and can't be trusted. On top of it, they are dirt cheap at your local parts store. They sell it by the foot. Pay close attention when checking for vac leaks to the intake manifold gasket area and the throttle body gasket area. Both are prone to leaks and will cause poor running.
