Head 180 out?

What exactly are you talking about? A head can't be out. The timing chain or belt can be out after the head is installed, but you would have to go through the timing procedure to check that.

Again, that goes back to the timing chain and it's setup procedure when the head is installed. Nothing to do with the head itself.

when i got the heads back from the machine shop he had the cam mounted on opposite heads so i switched them back (tensioner and oil gallary issues) so i cant have a cam 180 out?

Now it changes to possibly having the wrong camshafts in the head. I really don't know if these cams are different between left and right bank. I doubt it. Your going to have to check part numbers and check with the dealer to find out. I certainly would not have jumped into disassembling a head that the machine shop had just assembled.

still having issues with start up on this POS. machine shop plays dumd but cams and heads were flip-flopped. now ebay timing set is in question! timing marks dont corespond with shop-key at all. f150 parts vehicle i guess, i'm tired of it!
