2014 Nissan Sentra Shaking Sign In

Car recently started shaking when accelerating and decelerating.
Began happening recently after car stalled possibly due to being cold, but could be unrelated.

The issue slowly becomes less noticeable as the car runs on, disappearing almost entirely after 30-40 minutes.
Vehicle is noticeably louder than before.

Has 114,000 miles and always had oil changes done on time.
Admittedly, I'm quite inexperienced with cars so if none of this helps let me know and I'll try to find more relevant information.

Sounds like it's misfiring. The first step is to have the codes read. Most parts stores will read them for free.

Once you get the code numbers, post them here.

Re: 2014 Nissan Sentra Shaking Sign In

So, it turns out that no code is actually being generated by the system.

Not only that, but I had someone more experienced drive it for a little bit.
He came back to me saying that it's not the engine, it's the transmission.
When I first start the vehicle the transmission fluid is cold, thus it has a hard time shifting gears and shakes. Neutral and Park are fine.
Temperature is 10 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and the fluid doesn't flow well at all unless it's 40 Fahrenheit or higher.
That's why the problem disappears as the car warms up.

Thank you for your support, but there's realistically nothing that can be done but wait for spring.

If that is the case it's not the fluid's fault. ATF doesn't change consistency with temperature. You likely have a lot of varnish in the valve body that softens up with heat.
