My Audi A3 2008 1.9 TDI 77KW sometimes won't start.

So usually at the morning, car will start almost all the time on first ignition. Not that smooth, but will start. Also, car will start in 100% cases after turning it off, then starting. And then turn off, and then start. And so on. It will allways start like that. The main problem is trying to start car, like half hrs+ after turning it off. It cranks, kinda fast, but will shake more and wont start. Pressing gass pedal in that situation helps. So after 2-3 tries like that car will start, roughly. And again, turning it off, then on, starts smoothly.

Also what I noticed, in order to avoid rough starting, I sometimes start it without intention to fully start it. I letbit crank for 2 seconds, 2-3 times. Then car starts kinda good. So it's like I am fake starting it and tricking it.

Otherwise, once started, the car works fine, no shaking, runs good.

I know this is a tricky, but I lost my nerves and sometimes just thinking to turn on my cigartes lighter and put it inside the car fuel tank, and finish my suffering.

It sounds like you have a fuel pump that is not retaining rest pressure when shut off and the fuel is siphoning back into the tank when it is parked. You chan check this with a fuel pressure gauge.

In the meantime try cycling the key on without starting for a few seconds. Repeat this 3 or 4 times and then try to start it. If it starts right up you have confirmed your problem.
