2007 chrysler Pacifica fuel light reading empty.

I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica that the fuel light is on and the miles are reading 0 Also The check engine light is on. I know that the vehicle has gas in it. A guy from work told me to put the brake on and try turning the key on 11 times to reset this. This did not work! Any suggestions?

I don't know what he's trying to do but you likely have a bad sender in the fuel tank. If you momentarily ground the fuel gauge wire, it should jump to full. If not check the ground and if that's OK, the sender is bad.
