2004 nissan frontier Sign In
when u start the engine it make a grinding popping noise everytime you start it. I put a hose to the timing chain pully and that is where the noise is. can anyone help me? it started a few weeks ago making a ticking noise at idle.

Nissan did have some problems with there chaine tensioners
on yours cant say it is that just guessing Crazy

also if it hasent had its
frequent oil changes done regule you could have worn guides on the timming chaine
resulting in chaine slack wich needs replacing.
