Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 2004 Toyota Matrix 2WD, (not manual transmission)???
Everytime I call Toyota, they don't want to give me a straight answer... "it could be under the car... or it could be..." It could be a lot of things...but I just need a straight answer for this one.
Location of it would be nice, my father is getting too tired and i don't want him going underneath cars in the winter when he doesn't need to...

Do you have access to the car or are you helping your dad out via-telephone?
Its located in the gas tank.

NPN Fuel Filter In tank
Integral w/ fuel pump. This requires removing the gas tank and disassembly of the fuel pump assembly to service the fuel filter.
