Recently, after driving my car for about 20 minutes, the engine cooling fan starts to go on and doesn't turn off until I turn off the car. The only thing I have done differently is that since it is so cold out, I put in one bottle of that HEET stuff after I filled it up with gas, which says it removes water from the system. The cooling fan has never gone on in the past during the winter so much, can someone please help me out with what the problem could be? Thanks.

You may be low on antifreeze or you may have a thermostat sticking shut causing the engine to start to overheat and the computer is commanding the cooling fan on to try to stabilize the engine temperature. Another possibility is the coolant temp. sensor may be out of range telling the computer that the temp. is higher than it really is. Steve
