Hi Friends, On the 2002 Silverado 1500LS 4.3L, I am trying to change the intake manifold gaskets. I am stuck at removal of the fuel lines between firewall and upper intake manifold. It is very little room to work; I have the proper removal tool but it is hard.. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Petric

all i can say is it is a pain in the butt. i am not sure on a full size truck but have done a bunch of them on blazers and you have to take the short line set off it has a bracket that holds it to the intake and two flare nuts off the back side of the intake. they are hard to get too. once you get them loose with a flare nut wrench you can take them the rest of the way off with a shorty wrench. i do not know if they are the same on a full size pick up i know on a 350 you can just bend them up a little bit and pull the intake out. But the 4.3 the line goes down into the injector so i don't think that will work. hope that helped a little bit.
