2002 Accord - RPMs fluctuate while idling

When I got in my 2002 Honda Accord after work today, I started the car and noticed that it sounded a little louder than usual while idling. About a minute or two later (still idling), the engine started revving repeatedly -- RPMs were fluctuating from about 1000-2000. I drove it around the parking lot before taking it on the highway -- when I put it in drive, the RPMs are steady but it seems a little more 'eager' than usual. When I rolled down the window, I could tell that the car was making more noise than usual. The weirdest thing I noticed once I got back into the city: the car doesn't lose momentum. I would accelerate to about 35 mph and take my foot off the gas, and it would just coast at 35 for blocks. This is what I mean by eager -- when I brake, it seems harder to stop the car, and when I turn it off, it's almost as if it doesn't want to shut off. What's going on!?!? I think engine size is 2.3, and it has around 125000 miles on it.

First check is for vacuum leaks then clean IAC and throttle body. If no change or nothing found get codes read, T
