Guesses: Are RPMs high enough at idle? Other possibilities could be motor mounts, or exhaust parts touching or broken? Might take a pro to find it. If capable you could still do the work but a diagnosis might be worth it,

Get codes read with a check engine light on it has something to say. EGR? Probably not but on the list. Spray it with carb cleaner ( just a tad when not too hot) and if idle changes there's a leak in diaphragm or gasket. You could take it off and see if pintle is clear and if not some will clean up with carb cleaner.

These things can be tough to diagnose on the web but if somehow it quits this if vacuum line is removed and plugged it's getting a wrong signal to part open at low RPM and shouldn't be as a lead,

There can be "flat rates" for using some equipment like code readings or you should have a clue in about an hour's labor or so and a report in writing and or estimate of the fix if found and not for you. No harm in asking up front either. It could save you hours of time or wasted parts for things that are NOT wrong,
