hello again. I have a new one for you guys. I own a 2001 Chevy Impala with the 3.4 litter engine, about a week ago it started to shake while running. I went and had it check and was told to put a new throttle censer in it. I have done this and it still shakes while driving but now i smell gas while doing so i have went through the car about three time now and have not found the problem. I am going to do a tune up on it and replace the throttle position censer again. Before i do this is their any idea on what might be causing the issue in the first place.

Maybe a very small crack in an injector? try unplugging each one on and off to see if there is a change in the shake of the engine if one is unplugged and it doesnt shake that might be the culpurit. the test to see if it's on the electric side or the injector.

ok will do i also found out i need to fix the exhaust gasket also. will that make the car shake while running also.

If you smell gas you more then likely have a fuel leak. I belive there is a recall for return line at the regulator. Might be wrong, but check the fuel regulator for leaks, If that is not it then see if you can smell raw fuel in the engine comparment and try to track down where it's coming from.
