2001 Honda civic loses power after 30 min driving Sign In

Hi I have a 2001 honda civic that has been having problems. It started overheating a few months ago so I recently had the head gasket, water pump, timing belt all replaced. The check engine light started then and continues to be on. It drives fine for 30 min on freeway then like clock work will die down to about 40% power. I checked the codes and it read cat converter and o2 sensor. So I replaced the 2- o2 sensors and cat. Car sounds alot better as the other exhaust manifold was cracked. I still have a o2 sensor code after diconecting the battery etc.. I am going to replace the upstream o2 sensor again because it was the cheaper one from a different company. My car has 196000 miles but runs great until about 30 min of driving. Would a o2 sensor make my car shut down into a safe mode? I am absolutely stumped. My air filter is good, oil changed. Could my muffler be clogged? It looks fairly new and sounds ok. Any help would be appreciated

What were the exact code numbers?

It looks like you have a problem with an 0/2 sensor circuit that needs to be diagnosed properly and a likely bad Catalytic Converter

I replaced the cat 50 miles ago and both o2 sensors. Its a OBDII cat. I'm wondering if it may be plugs/coils or injector control mod? I guess I will have to systematically replace everything:)

You had better bring it back to the guy that installed the cat then.
