My 2000 Mazda b4000 jumps like a miss when I'm driving at a steady speed or at least that's when its noticeable any ideas what could be the cause of this it has 228000 miles and have had to put an extension on one plug because it was fouling out but its doing it again

What kind of fouling? Is it burning oil?

One of the plugs was fouling out and not firing I was told oil was causing it so the mechanic put an extension on it where it screws in and that fixed that but now it shapes/bounded(best description I can use) when it at a steady speed as soon as I let off the gas it stops

Wow - I haven't seen use of "oil fouler" extensions in quite a while - decades - but they did limp along a cylinder that would foul fast but marks the end of usually the lower end but for any reason.

Problem with a 2000 anything is they really care more than just preventing the fouling. There's more to aiming the fuel mixture being compressed to be ignited and probably is just barely doing so is the current problem. The real problem is why it does foul at all. If oil known that's a good start to find out.

Have to suggest a compression test to find out if rings, compression or possible valve allow oil in excess. Wet test vs dry should tell if piston and rings or cylinder on that one. Find out, could be real trouble IMO,
