I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM SE1 with 3.4 V6... Its been very cold here this week and the car has been running fine up until yesterday I get into the car and its running very ruff... the service engine light came on and the code came out to say #5 cylinder misfire... can anyone help.. I was told that I probably have some ice in my fuel lines

You probably don't have ice in your fuel lines because you wouldn't have a single cylinder misfire.

You need to figure out why #5 cylinder is missing. Easiest thing to check first would be spark at number 5 plug wire using a spark tester.
