so i jus bought this car, guy said its been sitting for 4 months, wouldnt start, ran OBD2, code p0335- CPS. Replaced CPS, now car turned over... but with knocking noise. figured sludgy oil is all on the bottom, replaced gas, flushed fluids, did oil change. started her back up. she started, then died 10 seconds later. engine stopped spinning. 3 pulleys on on belt, car is dual belt. i was able to spin alt pulley and loosen belt to try and turn her over, car startedm then died. sounds like somethin stuck. spinned a/c pulley and was able to loosen belt, car turned over and shut off again. i was told maybe its the harmonic balancer, maybe its the crank pulley itself. please help!

You might be able to see it wobble with just cranking or out of line by eye even without running. May be wrong but didn't think it was common on those cars,

It may be froze up. Put a socket on the crank bolt and see if it turns easily.

Then you look at the starter and starting circuit to find out why the starter isn't doing it.

No, it wouldn't. It doesn't look promising.
