My wife's 2000 Chev Impala 3.8 eng. has coolant (water) spewing out around the far left rear fuel injector after pressure builds up. the car runs great,no skipping or anything else. A check of the oil gives no indication of water in oil. Please help I am baffeled. Thanks for any advise.

All GM V6 engines have a problem with the intake gaskets leaking. The 3.8 also has problems with the plastic intakes cracking so you need to pull the intake for a closer look. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
