The pump was replaced asap and now when i drive smoke that smells like burn maple/tuna comes from my air vents and my windows are fogging up from the inside. Its more greasy then foggy. I know that any leftover debris/oil on the engine could have burnt when the engine over heated which could cause the smell. But i'm concerned about how long its been since the engine overheated. Could it possibly be my heater core? That would explain the 'sweet' maple smell and the fogging of the windshield. The heater core, itself, is about $70.
