1999 chevy blazer 4.3 170,000 miles

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator the car would not start would not turn over all the way figured out cylinders were full of gas drained them and then it cranked over a couple of times and the cylinders filled again

Apparently either the regulator job wasn't done correctly or that wasn't actually the problem.
