1998 crv honda radiator

Does anyone know if there is anything special to do when replacing the radiator in a 1998 honda crv(purging the heating system for example).Is it just a matter of taking the old out and putting the new in with no tricks.Any advice is apprecited.

The R&R of the radiator itself can be made tricky by having to get things out of the way and whether is needs to come up and out or down and out - don't know without looking at specific car. You should be able to tell with just a good look at it.
Refilling can be a problem with any system. It is more difficult if the vehicle does not use a fill cap on the radiator itself and you may have to fill thru a disconnected hose at first or remove an item for an air bleed as the thermostat can lock air in system until it's warm enough to open so in any vehicle you want to let it cycle from cold to operating temps and purge out the air or at least most of it before you use it regularly again. I alway like to check again the next day or so to see where it stabilized as minor air will be pruged from just driving and some cool downs and warm ups and then stay stable. You should be good enough to go when the engine can maintain a steady temp and the heater can deliver consistant warm air. It's worth watching the level for a day or two of use after you are all done,
