What are the possible cause/solution to the flywheel not turning. I have a 3.8, last time I drove, engine light started flashing and engine was dying out. parked car, now car will not start, ignition fires and if I back turn engine, it will fire more but it gets to a place where it appears to just stop. Any ideas.

The 3.8L were notorious for upper intake gaskets leaking and allowing coolant to leak into the combustion chambers and hydrolocking the engine. Remove the throttle body and use a flash light to peer in the intake throat. Look for coolant laying on top of the lower intake. Remove all the spark plugs, disable the ignition by unplugging the ignition control module connector, then crank the engine. If coolant sprays out of the plug holes, replace the upper and lower intake gaskets and purge remaining coolant in the cylinders You should also replace the upper intake manifold and install the revised EGR pipe. Dorman sells a complete intake kit with revised tube to resolve your issue. Don't continue cranking on the engine because you'll either break the starter nose off or bend a connecting rod. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
