Hello,
I have a 1998 Pathfinder with the 3.3L engine and 140k miles. Up until 5 days it ran perfectly but then the rotor broke leaving me stranded. I replaced the rotor and the distributor cap and it ran fine for 2 days then started missing and then missing so bad it would barely run (but would always start up and run very poorly). The dealer mentioned that the distributor could be bad when I bough these parts so this was not too much of a surprise...
I decided to replace the entire distributor today and it started up and ran well (though at higher RPM's that normal) and after 5 minutes or so it just died and now will not start. Tomorrow I will check for spark to see if the new distributor crapped out but anythung else I should look into?
