The problem would be that the fuel pump and regulator were not the problem. Open the trunk and look behind the trim panel on the right side for the Inertia switch. When you find it look for the red button on top and push it down. If it moves down and locks, see if the car starts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

It's supposed to go right off. Does it restart when the engine starts cranking? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Not likely, the lines are different sizes. You may have pinched a plastic line when putting the tank back up though. One way or another. The problem is either in the pump itself or the filters and lines in between.
