1998 Chrysler Cirrus LXI 2.5 Lt. V6 duel overhead cam. There is a loud ticking noise originating from what seems to be my intake. I've changed the oil even adding a mixture of 10W 30 and 10W 50 with oil treatment. My car has 24 valves so that means 24 lifters. I've replaced the 12 lifters in the rear I thought it would at least make the tick quieter but it's the same. I am about to change the other 12. Also now it isn't ideling correctly. If I give it gas it will stay running but for it to idle it wont happen. And just to add this in, someone said something about "tightening my lifters" Dont know how to do that seeing as how they just slide up into my rocker arms and they pump, my old ones pumped very little or not at all.
