1998 Chevy C6500

366 CID (gas engine converted to run on propane)

NEW ATI distributer

NEW IMPCO 425 CARBURATOR

NEW IMPCO MODEL E VAPORIZER/REGULATOR

Replaced spark plugs and spark plug wires

NEW MSD DISTRIBUTER (streetfire)

Cleaned full throttle body

Removed timing cover

Checked both timing marks on timing chain

Countless hours of changing stuff around,

Engine starts, idles, however when accelerating engine bogs out, sometimes dies.

LEAD UP: Changed Transmission, problems started within a week.
Engine would no longer exceed 25 - 30mph, no TACH to monitor RPMs

(Allison AT545 Automatic Transmission)

any and all suggestions helpful, have you experienced similar problems? URGENT matter

Thank you

??? Whatever cobbled up mess this is, it at least is here and once ran well? IDK is the end answer but if problems all started with changing the transmission (no RPMs noted or possible (??) ) that's a problem for once a "computer" controlled engine/trans set up if it doesn't know RPMS the game is over for other things to work.
Just asking if this is an engineered set up or a one of kind powertrain set up? If a "one and only" this site isn't (IMO) the place for you for help I/we deal with production vehicles with greatly known designs and parts good or bad at least what was intended.
You said this was a rush to fix? IMO if you need dependable that badly I don't think this is the right machine, age alone and cobbled up or rare fast fixes sure isn't likely for the thing,

Tom
