1997 tahoe,5.7 engine ; rough idle,lower power at speed

1997 tahoe,5.7 . 128k on clock. changed fuel filter. truck ran ok. now, rough idle at park. in drive low power, hesitation,popping . i cleaned iac and housing; checked for vac.leaks,none found. drove it again, ok for 3/4 of a mile, then back to low power, hesitation, popping. checked spark plugs, ok. tan color. could not find any codes in computer. what else can i look for?

Timing Might be off possible bad crank or cam sensor test this by removing the connector set your multi-meter to AC unplug coil, probe both sides of crank sensor and get someone to crank it over. A typical sensor will have an output above 200 mV. Also Might be clogged catalytic converter(s). the easiest way to check this is just by taking out both upstream(before the cat) O2 sensors and driving it see if it has power again. Those are some things you could check.
