1997 Chevy S-10 Head Gasket

2.2 engine.
208,000 miles.
Now My friend was going to sell me this truck for 650 dollars and he said the head gasket has low compression now is this a major problem or is it something simple or what cause i have no clue.. And i dont want to buy it if its a big problem...Any advice will be apreciated thanks!

A head gasket issue of any kind is never a small problem and could actually be much worse like a cracked head. It requires a major teardown of the engine to examine and repair.
