What's the big question? You have confirmed that the transmission is coming apart. Now you replace/rebuild it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

How does the engine sound? Why would you pull the oil pan off for a transmission problem? Do you mean that you cannot put the transmission into gear with the engine running? Can you put it into gear with the engine off? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

If the transmission will go into gear with the engine off, but not running, that means either the clutch isn't fully disengaging or the stub on the end of the input shaft is hanging onto the pilot bearing. You identified what the shards are from in the oil pan? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
