Hello. I'm having problems with my 91 Geo Prizm 1.6L, 90,000 miles. I recently had the timing belt, catalytic converter and the pipe that goes from the catalytic converter to the engine replaced. About a month after I had the work done, my car started stuttering during acceleration. It doesn't stutter within the first few minutes of driving, but it does after that and seems to get worse the longer I drive. The car hasn't stalled out because of this problem, but sometimes feels like it might. And it seems to run fine before and after the stutter. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Sorry for the delay. We also have full time jobs (usually more hours working than off)and families to be with. How long since the vehicle has been tuned up? Fuel and air filters changed? Look at the common things first. Let us know and we will try to help. We might not be as fast as you want us to be, but we truly do care.

Look man. I wasn't trying to be mean. I just thought there would be more people on here. I didn't realize it was such a small community. But thanks for the advice. I'll just take it to the mechanic and have it looked at by an expert. It's pretty hard to get advice on a forum considering how little I know about cars. I apoligize if you think I somehow insulted you. Have a nice life!

Deuce22Deuce : You were seen and I put your post on watch quickly when you first posted. Just know that I didn't think I had anything earth shattering to suggest so I let it sit and wait for perhaps another to come by. There are several of regulars here and the whole world can watch and suggest away at will.
This forum is active and tended to as best we can. It would hurt if a regular makes a post basically saying "I don't know" or something as other regulars might see that it's already attended to and not persue it or even look in.
As a regular I try to see what topics haven't been responded to first and check the ones with responses last. Know that it's a lot just to read all the "unread" posts that come thru this site and even when we have the time which varies by our own real world schedules we can get caught up deep in one situation taking up lots of time.
Hey - there's only so much a forum for car issues can do and only so many eyes to watch. At this post 32 folks have already seen your first post so it didn't get ignored.......
