You may want to start with charging the battery, getting the charging system checked, then the battery load tested. Steve

You still need to get the charging system checked. If the voltage is out of range, all electrical/electronic systems will be adversely affected. Steve

It's supposed to suck air through there. That's the intake for the IAC. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

As HT said, "It's suppose to suck through there, that's the IAC air intake" Those have coolant going through them any were good for jamming up, a lot of times you would get a surging problem. If the IAC is functioning properly, it always resets for a cold start when the engine is shut off so whether is hot or cold when you start the engine the idle should jump to around 1200 and then depending on if it's hot or cold would determine how fast it would come down to normal idle. It the idle doesn't raise, then you probably have a bad IAC. Sometimes you can take them apart and free the gears up. If that doesn't work then it would have to be replaced. If memory serves me correctly, they were pretty expensive...........
