I currently have a 1990 Toyota Pickup single cab stock lift truck. My dad and brother have both sunk plenty of money into it to fix it. We have seen many people about this persistent issue. The truck will not crank up. We have put a new fuel pump on, new fuel filter, and the carburetor has been rebuilt twice. The guy who rebuilt the carburetor has said that it needed a check valve, and we put one on. But still, the only way for me to get the truck to crank up, is to spray starter fluid directly into the carburetor. It cranks up instantly after that. However, as this is quite inconvenient, I am asking you guys to please tell me what to do with it to get it to crank up by itself. Thanks so much in advance.

Does it start right up after the engine has warmed up or does it do this only when the engine is cold after sitting overnight? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
