1990 S10 Pickup Engine Shudder/Hesitation

I have a S10 Pickup 4.3L 4x4. Lately, it has had a very noticeable shudder/hesitation/almost stall to it. I am not sure what is causing this. Any ideas?

Ryan you’re asking us to write you a novel when you ask such and open question, the possibilities are almost endless.
All I can suggest is to begin with the basics of a tune-up; as in plugs, wires, distributor’s cap, ignition rotor and filters? Then go from there if the problem persist.
During the process of replacing these items watch for any one particular item that looks to be different from one of its counter parts. As in one spark plug being fouled with carbon or wet with fuel; paying attention to things like that may give us a clue as to why the truck is running the way it is?
