Hello, I have a 1989 Ford mustang with the 5.0L HO engine. I am having trouble when after stopping at a stop sign, upon acceleration the car turns off. (Like someone has just turned off the key) It will restart in approx 30 seconds-1minute. When it turns off, I try to coast out of the way with the car in N. After restarting it runs great. Till the next time. It does not always happen, usualy after driving about 15 minutes or more. I have replaced the mass air flow, fuel pressure regulator valve, fuel pump, fuel pump screen, fuel relay, cleaned out the gas tank. Have replaced coil and pigtail. Replaced the ignition coil, ignition control modual, and all relays. The computer does not throw any codes. Does anyone have any ideas?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the car belongs to my wife and she wants it to run longer than 15 minutes at a time, lol.

It sounds like you have thrown a lot of parts at it but no mention of the most likely cause of the Ignition Control Module on the side of the distributor. Nobody can know for sure with those symptoms but those modules are notorious. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I am sorry, I did replace that. Forgot to mention it earlier.
