1988 Wrangler will not continue to run.

1988 Wrangler will not continue to run. Sign In

1988 Wrangler will start right off but as soon as ignition switch is released from starter position it shuts off. Carbuerator has been replaced and I have plenty of fuel pressure. Could this be the ignition module or a switch contact problem?

That would be either the resistance wire from the ignition switch is burned out or the ignition switch is bad.
