i have a 1987 cavalier with the 2.0 overhead valve motor with a/c and p/s also auto tranny. I overheated it and blew the headgasket it still ran ,I tore it down ,but then I couldnt put it back together untill a month later .I got it back together and I have a chiltons manual I followed , torqued everything to specs I thought I did everything right ,now it wont start , it turns over it just dont start. I have checked and I have spark and the throttle body is spraying gas I have also checked all connections I have found 1 that is not connected it is coming out of the wiring loom up at the throttle body with 2 others the other 2 plug into the throttle body . the other thing I have noticed ,It almost acts like i is getting to much fuel, i can smell it really bad and I am working out doors any help would be greatly appreciated , I am sure I have made some bonehead mistake I just cannt figure out what thanks
