Would anybody know if a faulty HEI Module would cause the problems that I've mentioned in my previous post?? I have been told this could be a possibility.

It is an almost all electric carb afterall!!

Those things are usually go or no go but now not expensive and pretty easy to replace. I keep a used one in my trunk that fits most HEI but not all. I've NOT seen one fail part way. Just my experience. T

Well I think your right, because I checked the Ignition Coil, and there was absolutely no ohms of resistance between the BAT terminal and the distributor pin.

As far as I know, that's a sure sign the coil's no good! Changed it with a replacement one, spark seems stronger!Smile

Still looking into Vaccuum leak! Will know more tomorrow. Car at least driveable today!!Sly
