My sister owns a 1986 Dodge 600 ES with 111,xxx miles on a 2.2 turbo. When you are slowing down it will occasionally die while other times it will fast idle while in neutral or park. I imagine whatever is causing this problem is also the reason the instrument panel reads "Power Loss". I'm not sure if this is related but the electric instrument panel also flashes from time to time while driving, but I haven't seen a correlation between it dieing and the instrument panel flashing. All we have really tried is basic maintenance of the car. We really have no idea what would cause this so we haven't been able to do to much about it.
