my 06 Lincoln spudders and makes a spudder pop like sound...it is slow to take off sometimes but once it passes 2nd gear it runs fine and then just stalls out....it gives me an trans malfunction warning also sometimes when driving...i cant recall the code( 2109 i think) but they said somethin in the nature of the trottle acuator and ecm......

A lot of different things could cause this problem. You should start with the basics and have the codes pulled and take a fuel pressure reading.
Maintance wise if you haven't changed your fuel filter, it wouldn't hurt to do that....
