05 Altima P0725 and P0335 codes. Please help!	Sign In

Hi All.
I am new to this forum and would really like your opinion on something -
Yesterday the 'Service engine soon' light started to show and I go it checked at AUTOZONE. They said I need to change the engine speed sensor (p0725) and the crankshaft sensor (p0335). They cost about 75 bucks total for parts.

My question
- Are these the right sensors to change?
- Do I need to get both changed or is one of these sensors causing the other sensor to not function properly?
- How long can I wait to get these changed? would 2-3 days more be OK?

I would really appreciate any suggestions

Is there any problems with the way the vehicle is running? Sometimes, not often, the PCM will glitch and trip a code. If there is no running problems you need to do tests on the sensors and wiring before blindly replacing sensors.

i believe both codes are related to the CPS sensor. Does your car have a Tach?? Usually a tell tale sign of the CPS sensor going bad in Nissans is the tach stops working intermittenly. Also you may feel a random miss when driving or stalling.

its worth clearing the code and seeing if it comes back first if you dont have any of the symptoms.
