I was going to get in my car after letting it run for about 10 minutes. I noticed the check engine light was blinking when I got in the car. I turned it off and on again and it went away. After backing up I tuned on my heat and noticed a rotten smell in my car. Rolled down the windows and continued forward. After engaging in gear and started to move the check engine light went solid. I noticed the whole front of the car to start shaking. Then the check engine light started blinking again. Brought to my garage and started to work on it.
NOTE: Prior to this cat conv is going out with ODB, but would go away and stay away for about 2 months after cleared.
Here is the diagnostics I have done so far:
ODB code is P0300 - misfiring cylinder
Noticed the exhaust is chugging. Not a steady flow.
The check engine light is not consistent. Goes off and on.
In gear the engine shakes worse than idle.
I have replaced spark plugs and wires. No luck. Have NOT replaced the 3 coils.
I have yet to change out o2 sensor and maf sensor.
The o2 sensor is stuck on. Currently soaking in PB blaster.
