After allowing it to cool down, I returned and attempted to restart. When turning the key, there is no power to anything, except the oil light comes on . This is the only sign of power to the car. I have followed all visible wires to see if there was a wire that melted, but can not find a thing. I have checked all of the fuses, dash and under hood, but I am not sure how or if I should check the relays. I have also attempted to jump start, and receive no power from the jump battery. I am unsure of where to go from here. That and a jump did nothing for power? Even if engine seized up there should be power flow which has apparently ceased. Take voltage of battery at posts and battery at the outer clamps to posts too and along as somewhere there's a complete disconnect. Did coolant blow all over the place with the overheat? Do you know what caused the overheat at all?
